Eat Them To Defeat Them: Sweet & Scary Peppers & Pineapple

In support of the award winning Veg Power campaign, we’re working with primary schools across the country to create fun veg dishes that can be easily made at home!

 

WK. 3: DARE TO TRY OUR SWEET & SCARY PEPPERS & PINEAPPLE with EGG FRIED RICE?

An unbelievably quick and easy recipe that can be made at home or even be showcased on a menu!

 

INGREDIENTS:

Sweet and Sour Sauce

Fresh pineapple

Bell peppers

Beansprouts

Carrrots

Tilda Egg fried Rice

Prawn Crackers


METHOD:

– In a dry very hot pan scorch the peppers to create a barbecued ,toasted flavour.

– Add the beansprouts and carrots

– Pour in the sweet and sour sauce add the pineapple chunks and stir through.

–  Microwave the rice and serve side by side, with a good helping on prawn crackers over the top.
