Eat Them To Defeat Them: Caribbean Zombie Rice & Pea Pitta Pockets

WK. 5: DARE TO TRY OUR CARIBBEAN ZOMBIE RICE & PEA PITTA POCKETS?

An unbelievably quick and easy recipe that can be made at home or even be showcased on a menu!

 

INGREDIENTS

Tilda Caribbean Rice and Peas Pouch
Reggae Reggae Sauce
Snap peas (sliced)
Mixed Peppers (sliced)
Pitta Breads

METHOD

Fry the snap peas and peppers until they blister
Add the Reggae Reggae sauce and stir
Microwave the Tilda rice and pea mixture and add it to the sauced vegetables (not to long as to keep snap peas crunchy)
Warm the pitta breads, cut in half to form pockets and fill with the mixture.

Option: serve with a spoonful of sour cream over top
