Peanut & Banapple Oats

Ingredients

  • 50g Quaker oats
  • 200ml milk
  • 70g of fresh or tinned pineapple pieces
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tsp of peanut butter (add a little hot water to make it runnier)
  • 25g salted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground sweet cinnamon

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a shallow pan and add the honey and cinnamon.

  2. Mix in the pineapple pieces and leave to bubble, turning every few minutes until golden brown.

  3. Pour the mixture on top of your Quaker oats porridge and add fresh slices of banana.

  4. Drizzle with peanut butter to serve.
