Double Award Winners

18th September 2025
We're celebrating after winning not one, but two accolades at the prestigious TCS&D 2025 Awards.

Taking home Livery of the Year and Refrigerated Transport Operator of the Year, the TCS&D judges praised our 37-year history and commitment to improvement and innovation, placing our customers front and central.

Judges also praised how Castell Howell champions regional produce and Welsh farmers, collaborating with local authorities to get locally grown vegetables on school menus, which in turn supports the local economy and reduces food miles. Judges commented on the impressive and unrivalled livery designs which are purposely designed to showcase all the elements that they’re extremely passionate about.

Martin Jones, Director of Transport Operations said “Castell Howell prides itself on helping its customers, colleagues and the communities it serves to grow and thrive, We do this by embedding social, cultural, environmental and economic sustainability across our business, which has been recognised by TCS&D.”

Martin added This award is great recognition for the hard work and dedication shown by everyone involved throughout the company,”

“We were up against some exceptional operators – many multinational companies with solid reputations and far greater resources than ourselves. The awards demonstrate the quality of our people and our commitment as a business to be the best at what we do. Our team is crammed with talent, energy and ability, which is the perfect recipe for success and high standards. While I always knew we were great operators and that we have the best people, to have it recognised with these awards is incredibly satisfying and rewarding.’’

With the founding family still fully involved, Castell Howell has passed through the generations as seen in their leadership team, staff, customers, suppliers, partners and the wider community – this is testament to their humble values, continuous growth and adaptability through the decades.
