The ‘Oscars’ of UK ice cream competitions has taken place courtesy of the Ice Cream Alliance UK Trade Association.

The annual event which has been held since 1953, is judged blind by experts from the ice cream world.

We’re thrilled that Mario’s Ice Cream, our flagship ice cream range won GOLD for their Dairy Vanilla Ice Cream.

With over 40 years experience in ice cream making, Mario Dallavalle combines his Italian heritage with Welsh ingredients and it’s his passion that’s been passed down a generation to his children who play a key part in the running of the business.

The team will be showcasing their award winning range at our Food Shows on February 20th & 21st at Parc Y Scarlets in Llanelli and March 4th & 5th at Parc Eirias in Colwyn Bay. Book your tickets here
