At the end of 2014, new legislation was introduced requiring food businesses to provide allergy information on food sold unpackaged. As well as this, changes have also been made to existing legislation on how allergenic ingredients should be listed on pre-packed foods. These legislations affect all businesses in the food industry.
Remember – if you prepare, sell or serve food, you need to be aware of what allergens it contains.
