Supporting Student Fundraising Success

We were thrilled to be in attendance of a recent fundraising event held at the Coleg Cambria Wrexham campus on April 26th.

The ‘Wrexham Football Themed’ charity dinner was superbly organised by students studying the college’s Tourism and Hospitality Management course and raised money for the Wrexham Foodbank and Miners Project.

Marie Wills, Castell Howell Business Development Manager said: It’s a real pleasure to be able to support this charity event. Coleg Cambria share in our passion for supporting communities and their students pulled out all the stops in making this event such a huge success.

Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course plated meal surrounded by Wrexham football memorabilia, followed by a charity auction, raffles and guest speakers.

The main speakers were Humphrey Ker (Director at Wrexham FC) and former players alongside Wrexham’s match day commentator Mark Griffiths.

Marie added: ‘’Working with Coleg Cambria allows us to support the future generation who are already doing such great things for an important industry, as well as the community. Thank you for letting us be a part of this great event’’
